PIOTR SKOWRONSKI

Piotr was born in the south of Poland in a city surrounded by mountains. From the very beginning he felt that the stage is a place where he fits best. His biggest dream was to become an actor and perform in front of live audiences. As a teenager, he was a part of a comedy theatre, about the time his love for Elvis exploded.

After finishing technical university, he started to work at Telco but never stopped dreaming about appearing on stage.  His co-workers knew he was a huge Elvis fan and convinced him to do his first live show. He invited all his friends and posted it on YouTube.

This video was seen by Sławek Wódka, a founder of ‘The King’s Friends’, the best Elvis Tribute band in Poland. Sławek invited Piotr to be a vocalist in the band, which started his career as an Elvis Tribute Artist.

Since then, The King’s Friends have appeared many times in Poland and abroad. Having 7 members and paying close attention to details they have managed to win multiple prizes and are frequently asked to appear on Polish TV.
