Paul sang for his classmates when he was young and still at school. He was once asked to play the part of Elvis in a school play but declined as he was too shy.
He wanted to fulfil a singing career but got married at age 19 and went on to have four kids, so had to work. In 1997, Paul developed leukaemia which prevented him from working and so had to plan what he was going to do in the future. He knew he had a good voice, so decided to enrol with a music agency.
In 1999, he went on a spiritual tour of the Vatican, then to Israel and the Holy Land. Finally, finishing his trip with 8 day's in Memphis, and visiting Elvis’ grave at 6:30 every morning. On his return, he decided to fulfil his passion to become an Elvis Tribute Artist.
Initially, Paul concentrated on charity events, pubs and clubs. Later, a friend who lived in Turkey, suggested he should go out there to perform, which turned out to be a successful venture.
Paul is very proud of the fact that when he sings Elvis’ music, it comes from the heart. He loves Elvis and remains passionate of what he is doing to keep his memory alive.
