Obie Sparks is an American Elvis Presley Tribute Artist , Paying homage to the king since January 1976 and January 2026 he has been performing for over 50 years . Obie has received many awards and accolades for his spot-on renditions and has won or placed in many contests all over the country . after having seen the King in concert on front row on December 30th 1976 it inspired Obie to keep performing more, Obie is doing his best of maintaining Elvis' legacy, and impressing audiences at every one of his performances. Obie has performed and has won or placed in various contests for years and has done various special events , Obie is also a ordained minister who can do wedding services and has done movies , and tv and radio , corporate functions, and all different types of entertainment venues throughout the United States , Obie's true passion for Elvis' music and memory has directed his career path. Obie considers it an extreme honor to perform to fans and people who really love Elvis as he does and Obie hopes that during his show you will feel a taste of what it was like to watch Elvis in concert and hopes to do him justice. in 2011 Obie was honored to have been inducted into the Elvis Tribute Artist Hall OF Fame by the city of Memphis , then in 2018 he was honored to be inducted into the International Elvis Tribute Artist Hall of Fame and lastly in 2020 he was honored by being inducted into the Strathmore`s Whos Who , Obie is also a ordain minister . Obie has also been featured in various magazines and newspapers throught his career and has coached or trained young ETA`s by giving them advise for their career because of his many years of experance . Obie has been feature in the wonderful book by Lee Jackson called The World of Elvis Tribute Artist 2025 edition on page 117 .

Mr. Sparks was very personable and engaging with everyone in attendance and his costume, song choices, and singing were spot on. I thought Elvis had “entered the building!” Book with confidence!

I was a bit worried my wife would find out but all was well.....just perfect. Mr. Obie sang 4 songs beautifully. Mr. Obie looks, acts and sounds like Elvis, naturally. I checked out quite a few performers and luckily I found the best at a reasonable price. Such a gentleman

Great entertainer!Obie came and performed for our residents and staff for nursing home week and he did a fantastic job! He was very nice and sounded a lot like Elvis! He even walked around after the performance and visited with some of the residents and staff that were unable to come to the performance. He put smiles on everyone’s faces and made it a memorable experience!Review response
