JOHN MENCIS

John started to sing in front of an audience in 1996, and in 2000 formed a band singing Elvis songs, mainly ‘68 comeback special and ‘70's, initially performing in the north of Spain.

In 2010 he became an Elvis Tribute Artist, performing in several towns around Spain, when his first jumpsuit was the ‘Aloha’, made by a tailor and himself.

On 8^th January (by coincidence) 2016, John formed his own John Mencis band with four musicians, performing shows around the country. That year the band did their first symphonic concert with a large orchestra, seven in all to date.

John was the first ETA to perform in Europe with such a large configuration comprising rhythmic quartet, gospel chorus, and orchestra.
